About You
Threw you off there, didn't I?
But hear me out — who YOU are is more important than who I am (more on that in a bit). If you're in your 20s or 30s, living in Colorado or Massachusetts, struggling with anxiety that is holding you back from your relationships, your job, your education, or your life; if you're trying to figure out what the f**k to do next, I think we might be a good fit together.
About Me
My name is Audrey Davis McGrath. I have been a therapist since 2020. What a time to be a new therapist, right?
The most important thing for you to know about me is that I am a warm, welcoming, and no-BS therapist. I am very skilled at holding space for you to talk about tough things, and I'm equipped to handle anything you throw at me.
Important to know but less exciting: I am an independently licensed clinical social worker in Massachusetts and Colorado. I got my bachelor's degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst and my master's degree in social work from Boston College.
My sessions are one hour long and cost $150. I see clients on a secure and private telehealth platform. I do not accept insurance for a multitude of reasons, but can provide a "superbill" that you can submit to your health insurance for reimbursement.
My Approach
Building Understanding
Our first step will be to get to know one another, get to know the problem, and get to know your strengths. When we build understanding, we can figure out what you want to change and how to get there together.
Building
Skills
Our next step is skill building. Maybe these are communication skills, setting boundaries, or just being able to pause and take a breath when you feel that familiar worry.
Building Confidence
We build confidence through practice, practice, and more practice. This can be in session, where we role-play a tough conversation that is coming up, or out-of-session through using your new skills in the "real-world."
Feeling ready? Here are the next steps.
Fill out the form below or call me at (720) 464-2878 to schedule a time for a "fit check." We'll talk for 5 or 10 minutes to make sure that we are a good match clinically, interpersonally, and schedule-wise. If we both feel good about it, we'll find a time that works for both of us (usually within a week or two) to have our first session.
